THE FOUNTAIN OF THE FALLEN ANGEL

The fallen angel is the only monument dedicated to the devil. It is in Retiro Park in Madrid. It was built to be send to The universal exposition of Paris in 1878, where the Torre- Eiffel was presented too.

It is build from granite, limestones and bronze. Stading seven metres high and ten meters squared. The estatue is 2,65 meters high.

The Royal Place of Sant Lorenzo of the Escorial

The Escorial is probably one of Madrid's best know and most photographed place. The Escorial is a complex of palace, church and monastery. Build to house the bodies of The Royal Spanish Family.
Opening on second September 1584. It was build in order to Felipe II, the King of Spain from 1556 to 1598 in honour of Salomon's temple.
It is built from granite of Mount Abantos. The base is covering an area of more thirty-three thousand metres squared. It is over over seven hundred metres of round and seventeen meter high.
